Hackensack High School Interact Club is currently
sponsoring a Gift of Life child. One year old Anastasia Andreyko and her
mother Olia arrived in the United States from the Ukraine on Friday, November 30th,
at three o'clock in the morning.
During their first weekend in the United States they visited the
mall and attended a Ukrainian Catholic Church in Passaic.
Anastasia was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday, December 4th, where she underwent testing on Wednesday, and surgery on Thursday. The surgery was successful and she is in stable condition. Anastasia came home form the hospital on Thursday, December 13th. There was a party for her "Christmas for Anastasia" on Friday, December 21st from 3:30 to 5:30 in the afternoon at the high school cafeteria.
